From Tsuburaya Productions comes this kids matinee movie culled together thelate 1970s Japanese tv series ""Dinosaur War Izenborg". The dinosaurs and giant monsters (some of whom talk!) are done with live puppet effects, while the humans are animated. Probably this movie would appeal to the very young more so then older Godzilla fans.

The youg girl comes on to the lad and he eventually has his way with her, however he has a peculiar curiosity about his Aunt. One day he follows Auntie and discovers that she is secretly the submissive sex partner of a violent and dominating lover! While spying on them he is discovered! A well made erotic story of lust and murder that takes a few unexpected twists and turns! This is the only movie shot on video I have ever seen that is every bit as good as any shot on film. Blood Reincarnation (Yinyang jie, 1974, horror) CANTONESE LANGUAGE WITH BURNED-IN ENGLISH SUBTITLES Directed by Shan-si Ting, Hong Kong Offbeat horror anthology from China dealing with curses and ghosts! The first and shortest story is my favorite about an old woman who, after being murdered, comes back to take revenge by possessing the killer's baby - in her womb! After delivery the kid goes bonkers and attacks "daddy" who was also in on the murder! Very twisted! The other 2 stories never quite live up to the opening but are still interesting. The second and goofiest one is a typical revenge-from-beyond curse story, but the last tale, about a man wrongly sent to death who comes back from the grave by performing a sacred reincarnation ritual, is quite moving! Rated R

The Boy God (Roco, ang batang bato, 1983?, action / fantasy) ENGLISH DUBBED Directed by J. Erastheo Navoa, Phillipines Ultra-weird fantasy / action / adventure film about a chubby young boy born with superpowers who must travel through a mystical and dangerous land to find his real (dead?) parents. On his journey he helps a tribe of midgets battle a giant Cyclops and takes on a 2-headed monster with the aid of a Wonder Woman-ish female super hero! He also fends off the local village against vampire creatures and an evil scientist. The whole mess ends up in a wildly manic kung fu and gun fight against the scientist and his men! RECENTLY ADDED! One of my all time fave Chinese horror actioners starring Samo Hung and Ching-Ying Lam. The humor is toned down a bit, there are some great zombies and ghosts and overall this film is much better then the first "Spooky Encounters" (this is a sequel in name only and story-wise there is no connection). It's strange to me that this film has yet to be released on DVD and remains so hard to find as it really stands out! Please not that although there are burned-in English subtitles, they often dip below the bottom of the picture and disappear for awhile.

For fans of "Crippled Masters" comes this obscure film set in modern times about 2 brothers, one without legs, the other armless, who team up to fight against discrimination against disabled people! Featuring the lead players from "Crippled Masters" Sum Si Wah and Chou Se Tung who perform some amazing martial arts skills despite their handicaps!

He plays Golden Bat, a skull-faced superhero that must fight Phantom Nazo, a villain set on altering the path of a star in a near by galaxy so it’ll crash into the Earth! Golden Queen’s Commandos (aka Golden Queen’s Commando,1984, action / fantasy) ENGLISH DUBBED Directed by Yin-Ping Chu, Taiwan Exciting action! A group of female convicts escape prison to tackle a dangerous mission! Nice picture quality!! Lots of Ennio Morricone soundtrack music “borrowed” from various spaghetti westerns! The Green Slime (Gamma sango uchu daisakusen, aka After the Destruction of Space Station Gamma: Big Military Operation, 1968, science-fiction) WIDE SCREEN / SCOPE FORMAT ENGLISH DUBBED Directed by Kinji Fukasaku, US / Japan A nice looking copy of this sixties space-monster classic available for the first time LETTERBOXED in the Cinemascope format and IN ENGLISH! After destroying a meteor that is heading for Earth, the space crew that had landed on the giant rock accidentally brings back a jelly-like virus which breeds indestructible tentacled terrors that multiply at an astounding rate infecting the populated space station! The print for this is the Japanese version which downplays the relationship drama (less dialogue) but has a bit more monster footage! Starring Robert Horton, Luciana Paluzzi, Richard Jaeckel and Bud Widom. Director Fukasaku would go on to direct the controversial "Battle Royale" before his death in 2003. Includes the U.S. & Japanese theatrical trailers!

Wild pop-art visuals in this offbeat haunted house film!! Quite unique and our exclusive version looks BEAUTIFUL and includes the original theatrical trailer! Highly recommended!!

Human Vapor (Gasu ningen daiichigo,1960, science-fiction) Directed by Ishirô Honda, Japan Contrary to popular belief this is not about Murry after he eats an onion omlet. Rather, it is the tragic story of a man who, after an experiment goes wrong, has the ability to transform himself into an invisible gas! He uses his powers to rob banks in this really decent Japanese sci-fi thriller!

Hungry Snake Woman (Petualangan cinta nyi blorong, 1986, horror / fantasy) WIDE-SCREEN PICTURE ENGLISH DUBBED WITH JAPANESE SUBTITLES Directed by Sisworo Gautama Putra, Indonesia RECENTLY ADDED! The Snake Queen returns in this bizarre horror fantasy starring Indonesian scream queen Suzzanna! A young girl’s mother is stalked and knifed in front of her! The trauma leaves her unable to speak so it’s up to a hard boiled detective to find the killer. Despite the lack of blatant nudity and typical humor elements, this slick looking film has an effectively sleazy undertone to it! Recommended! Rated R

Ring - The T.V. Movie (Japanese title: Ringu: Kanzen-ban, 1995, horror) IN JAPANESE LANGUAGE WITH NO SUBTITLES Directed by Chisui Takigawa, Japan "Ringu" fans take note! Here's the original made-for-tv movie that the feature film was based on! Surprisingly more violent and much more sexual, this fast-paced production is taken from the original Japanese t.v. broadcast in 1995 and includes the original t.v. commercials as well! In Japanese language with no English subtitles but easy to follow if you are familiar with the feature film. Starring buxom Japanese starlet Ayane Miura as Sadako. Rated R

This nutty live-action children's tv movie was edited together using clips from several of the later "Ultraman" tv series and feature films and horribly dubbed into this entertaining and juvenile monster matinee mess! This was reportedly released unbeknownst to original Japanese producers Tsuburaya who promptly sued. Hard to find!!

Star Virgin (1988) IN JAPANESE LANGUAGE WITH NO SUBTITLES, Japan Cheezy effects abound in this fun low-budget sci-fi adventure! The star is a slightly pudgy cute young girl who transforms into a Wonder Woman-like super- hero! She fights a relentless evil robot and several strange creatures! The lack of English doesn't really hamper the fun.

Here's a rare one, an obscure yet somewhat tame women-in-prison / revenge flick from Asso Asia films starring Susan Lee, Stella Jone and Laora Sode (who may be the same actress as Laura Sode-Matteson on "Hawaii 5-0" but I can't confirm this yet). One "Black" woman is actually an Asian actress in black makeup with an afro wig! The DVD-R includes the original theatrical trailer! Rated R

Top notch special effects including makeup fx by Dick Smith highlight this haunted house tale. No English subtitles on this one.

Tale of a Female Ghost (Ngo gwai bou yan aka Horrible Ghost of the Old House, 1987, xxx erotica) CANTONESE LANGUAGE WITH ENGLISH SUBTITLES Directed by by Xin Ren, Hong Kong Mediocre porn ghost revenge story for completests only. Rated XXX. ADULTS

Tyranno's Claw (Tirannoui baltob, 1994, fantasy adventure) CAVEMAN LANGUAGE! Directed by Hyung-rae Shim, South Korea A savage tribe of club-pounding bug-eating cave people offer up human sacrifices to the local T. Rex! No dialogue, only cave-ugh's! CHOMP!! Rated R for slight cave-girl breasts but really this is a family film.

Voyage Into Space starring Johnny Sokko and his Flying Robot (1970, science-fiction / monsters) ENGLISH DUBBED Directed by Minoru Yamada, Japan If you were a fan of the "Ultraman" t.v. series from Japan you may also remember Johnny Sokko (Mitsunobu Kaneko), a young boy working for the government agency Unicorn. With his giant sphinx-headed robot that obeys only his commands, they fight the evil alien Gargoyle gang as they attempt to conquer the world using a barrage of enormous (and hilariously fake looking) creatures! Compiled from about 10 episodes of the 60s t.v. show "Johnny Sokko and his Flying Robot" (called "Jaianto robo" in Japan), this fast-paced English dubbed feature-length tv movie has more giant monsters than 3 Godzilla movies combined, plus some of the most ridiculous English dubbing this side of Tokyo! And the good news is that this version runs a whopping 98 minutes! So roll over Hyata and tell Fuji the news, Johnny Sokko and his flying robot are BACK!

War Victims (Kamp tawanan wanita, 1983, women's prison drama) ENGLISH DUBBED Directed by "Jon Bierium" (Jopi Burnama), Indonesia Women fight for survival inside a Japanese prison camp. Wolf Devil Woman (Lang nu bai mo, 1982, martial arts / fantasy) CANTONESE LANGUAGE WITH ENGLISH SUBTITLES Directed by Ling Chang (Pearl Cheung), Hong Kong Chang plays the title character, a woman raised by wolves who unleashes her mystical fighting powers to take revenge on the men who murdered her birth parents in this wild flick. The story seems to be the same one that inspired the overrated “ Bride With White Hair”. I think this movie is much less pretentious and a lot more fun! Recommended! Looks great!

Woman Warriors (Island Warriors aka The Country of Beauties, 1982, martial arts / fantasy) ENGLISH DUBBED Directed by Yin-Ping Chu, Hong Kong Scantily clad Amazon warriors defend their island where men are kept as slaves from a group of pirates. More offbeat kung-fu madness from the director of "Golden Queen Commandos" and "Fantasy Mission Force". If you liked those films you'd probably dig this too!

Yip Tease (199?, erotica) NO DIALOGUE HONG KONG A series of short vignettes starring Hong Kong's busty starlet Amy Yip that quite honestly left me a bit cold. Miss Yip really let me down on this one, hiding way too much of her huge talents, but fortunately she has a few not-so-shabby friends along for the ride that deliver the goods! This one runs about an hour so it's only $13.00. No dialogue! For diehard fans only, otherwise you'll die "hard" trying to get through it! Rated R
