I am not a huge fan of Euro sex comedies but this one is great! A horny teenager
decides to spy on his two lesbian nurse neighbors (Laura Gemser and Bárbara
Rey) courtesy of a periscope that he creates as a school project. He naturally
has to keep his secret hidden from his lecherous mother and youth obsessed father.
The lucky youngster ends up befriending the nurses and learning a thing or two
about his anatomy and theirs. I think this film was very amusing and the disco
song that is played over and over even grew on me. The female flesh display is
fairly plentiful and there is even a quick erect penis shot for the ladies! Since
Larraz often goes for scares, it was interesting to see him aim for laughs. I
definitely recommend this film for its horny teen charm (the dysfunctional family

in 1914 on a Greek island, this soft core outing precedes the assassination of
Arch Duke Ferdinand (which kicked off World War 1). A group of aristocrats gather
for a three day celebration in honor of the goddess Aphrodite. Young Pauline (Valérie
Kaprisky) is chosen to play
the role and encounters sexual awakening and politics. This isn’t a bad little
film but somehow the ending seems very abrupt. As far as we know this is the uncut
version so perhaps bad editing is to blame (or script)? The sex and nudity factor
is plentiful and some orgy scenes seem very real. Visually it’s a treat with glorious
costumes and setting. Robert Fuest was clearly going for something classy here
but the political elements almost seem a bit out of place. However, this is based
on a novel and these items were clearly critical. I definitely recommend this
as a unique viewing experience. If you aren’t “wowed” by the plot, at least there

yell "Damn! Yank me!!" but didn't), B-movie babe Roberta Collins has
a small but memorable part as a call-girl / soon-to-be-dead-call-girl victim,
and look for "Phantasm"'s Angus Scrimm in a small role too! |

nude nymphomaniac (Lina Romay), a horny male servant, and a woman that is in a
childlike state. The homeowner turns out to be the husband of the mentally stunted
woman and Romay knows the murderous secret behind her condition. Once again, that
is a stab in the dark. I do know that there’s wall to wall nudity as passion erupts
between the cast and we even get hardcore scenes. Franco really tries to have
a plot here but all the erotic romps somewhat deter one’s attention! ~Melissa

at seventeen. Her affluent lover won’t marry her and she looks to Jess for comfort.
Of course, it doesn’t hurt when she finds out he is guarding a sliver mine. Weakening
Jess and getting to that silver means the finer things in life for Kady. However,
Kady isn’t a complete swindler. She does have a heart and truly cares for Jess,
even to the point of incest. This leads to a trial that the town won’t soon forget.
Zadora has brief nude scenes and there is the infamous tame bathtub sequence.
The Ennio Morricone score is fantastic, as always and Orson Welles has an amusing

shows up back at his place and before you know it the 2 are having a full blown
affair. Luigi dumps his snotty fiancee pronto. Soon, however, he finds that his
new lover may have a few screws loose. In the meantime, his boss' wife (played
by Miranda star Serena Grandi) makes advances towards him. Before the
whole thing is over all hell will break loose! Not a bad film at all for the 90's,
director Martino still knows how to deliver. Serena Grandi is unfortunately not
in the film that much, and it is curvacious Vittoria Belvedere (who went on to
do lots of Italian t.v.) who steals the show. She reminded me a lot of Ornella
Muti and is very believeable as the schizo siren! |

Now, this is an odd little title. The Curious Female is
a blend of sci-fi and nudie cutie. The master computer (a poor man's Big Brother)
controls an earthquake damaged world in 2177. To study lost sexual morals and
customs, people watch vintage films in secret. In this "new" world, no one is
a virgin after thirteen. The film is fairly amusing at times and some valid societal
views are addressed (racism, for example). I must admit that I was hoping to see
more of Rapp's vision of 2177. There is a good deal of female and some male nudity,
however. The sex isn't graphic or drawn out but you get the point. That being
said, I found myself entertained for about ninety minutes and what else can you

his daughter…Yes, it sounds like a Harlequin romance novel gone bad but it isn’t
that bad! I found myself oddly intrigued by this one. The plot is ridiculous but
somehow it worked. The name Pussy is nuckin’ futz but I got over it! I found the
lead actors to be convincing and the ending bleak. My only major complaint was
the original score! It’s festive Greek music that plays over and over to the point
of being tiresome. If you can overlook that, the film is really pretty decent.

is another retelling of the famous La Monaca Di Monza. In 16th century Italy,
Sister Virginia Maria de Leyva (Myriem
Roussel) finds herself
lusting after a deceitful nobleman. He devises a plan to seduce her and tragedy
befalls them and the convent. Like all tales of this kind, the repressed sexuality
of the church is the main focus. Though the convent struggles to stay chaste it
cannot overcome the allure of flesh. There have been several versions of this
story but this is by far one of the classiest and avoids hokey pitfalls. When
I say hokey, I mean by throwing in elements that are inaccurate to the time period.
The cinematography is excellent and the mood appropriate. Virginia’s pain and
romantic longings are effectively captured by the lovely score. As for the sex,
there is a good amount of it but it isn’t too extreme. The film is trying to actually
tell a story and not be pure nunsploitation, but you are into the “naughty nun”
genre, then "The Devils of Monza" isn’t a bad place to start. ~Melissa

The couple become obsessed with the girl after seeing her
swimming nude. Alba seduces Eugenie’s father and thereby “convinces” him to let
the couple “borrow” the innocent virgin! Once in their grasp she is forced into
a world of drugs and perverse sexual games which end in murder! Probably the best
of the available Franco films from this time period, this version of "Eugenie"
(Franco's third version) is his closest adaptation to the original story by the
Marquis De Sade and my personal favorite. In Spanish but very easy to follow!

for herself. This young woman is no shy flower and she finds herself in many compromising
situations. Of course, along the way, she meets a young reporter named Tom and
falls in love. In some ways, this film reminded me of the movie "Felicity".
There is a lot of nudity courtesy of Ms. Vergès
and a nude Olivia Pascal (star of "Vanessa") even makes an appearance
as a model. I was glad us ladies even get to see a weenie or two in this one!

abortion, and around another girl (played by Sybil Danning) who has a surprise
connection to the proceedings which is revealed at the end of the movie! |

rare one! Joe D'Amato acquired footage from the unfinished Jess Franco film "De
Sade's Juliet" starring Lina Romay and combined it with footage from 2 other Franco
movies "Midnight Party" and "Shining Sex" and then added Nico Fidenco music from
his "Black Emanuelle" film soundtracks. The result is a graphic, quickly-paced
and surprisingly effective bleak sex drama. A long haired Romay plays Justine,
a woman who stands on the verge of suicide. Before she takes her own life she
recalls the perverse sexual encounters of her past that lead to her emotional
collapse. Not a lot of dialogue makes this easy to follow despite the lack of
English. Note: The first few minutes of the film "jumps" some but looks
fine after the opening credits. Transferred directly from an out-of-print Greek
videotape. Not to be confused with Jess Franco's "Justine" from 1968
aka "Deadly Sanctuary", this modern set film contains XXX scenes. |
